Don t tie too tight though or you might break the mat.
The bigger the rug the more yarn you ll need.

You need them to be really squished together so after placing them you might find out you need to make more.
To keep the backing from fraying you can use duct tape.
Each pom pom took us about 5 minutes so put on a movie or two and relax.

Step two ensure that the pom poms you have made will have two long strands and then using the crochet hook pull each side through step three.
Attach all of the the pom poms to the rug liner by tying the tails of yarn around the mesh.
